PDI

1996年12月に開催されたIMC(Internet Mail Consortium)で話題になった技術で、1対1または、1対複数で情報を交換するときに、データを時間軸で管理して、互換性を持たせるためのフォーマットの名称。今後、身分証明が必要な電子名刺(vCard)とともに、スケジューラー・サービスに必要なカレンダー機能(vCalendar)を提供するために重要なフォーマットといわれている。詳細情報はURL(http://www.imc.org/pdi/)で知ることができる。
